532a. Pleura VI-VIII darkened and tightly pleated longitudinally, except for a narrow smooth median band in which the lateral setae are set. Points on the pleura of segment II conspicuously longer than those on the tergite, spinulose. 3 additional setae on the inner margin of the anal lobes. 532b. Pleura VI-VIII not or scarcely darkened and not tightly pleated. Points on the pleura of segment II no longer than those on the tergites. At most 1 of the additional setae on the inner margin of the anal lobes, seta-like, the others, if discernible, reduced to minute spinules. (Thorax dorsally anterior to the level of the thoracic horn usually nearly smooth.)
