Diagnosis (Material in coll. ZSM)
Exuviae 4.6-4.8mm long (n=3) (072-1.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Antennal sheath base with a sharp brown tooth (072b.jpg). Thoracic horn absent.
Abdomen: Tergites III-VIII with a posterior transverse band of small points; III-V also with an apical band of small hook-like points; posterior tergites with a variably developed antero-median patch of row shagreen (072-1.jpg).
Anal segment: Anal lobes without fringe (072c.jpg).

Distribution
Widespread in Europe (except British Isles and Scandinavia), Turkey.

Ecological notes
Larvae parasitic on mayfly (Ephemeroptera) nymphs; the gelatinous pupal case is attached to the host.
