Conchapelopia spec-Lappland

Conchapelopia spec. Lappland
Form described by Fittkau, 1962

Diagnosis (n=12; in part after Fittkau, 1962a - in italics)
Exuviae 5.8-7.1mm long (m=6.4mm).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn 310-400µm long (m=347µm); ThR 1.7-2.6 (m=2.1). Plastron plate 100x50-170x120µm, rounded oval, length 0.29-0.48 of horn length (m=0.36); marginal pores apparently crimped under the edge of the plastron plate and rarely visible; rim evanescent (015g.jpg). Atrium also vague, widening long before its connection to the plastron plate. Thorax tuberculate to the anterior margin. Anterior thoracic granulation extending as far back as the thorax comb. Thorax comb reduced to large rounded or pointed tubercles.
Abdomen: Armament of simple and forked spinules only. Armament of tergite VIII continuous across mid-line. Segment VII with 4 lateral taeniae, anterior taenia at 0.51-0.60 of length segment VII (m=0.55). Segment VIII with 5 lateral taeniae, on VII and VIII the distance between taeniae 3 and 4 is 1.5x the distance between taeniae 1 and 2; anterior taenia at 0.49-0.64 of length segment VIII (m=0.56).
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 2.1-2.4 (m=2.2). Each lobe with 2 anal taeniae straddling the middle of lobe length, insertion of anterior anal taenia at 0.38-0.48 of lobe length (m=0.43). Usually without minute teeth on the inner margin of the anal lobes, but some specimens show one or two exceedingly small teeth, so, perhaps rarely, the inner margin is toothed. Inner margin slightly convex; outer margin slightly concave; genital sheaths less than 2/3 of lobe length.
