Paratanytarsus penicillatus

Diagnosis
Exuviae 4.3-4.7mm long (n=6).
Cephalothorax: Frontal setae 60µm long (n=1). Pearl row present.
Abdomen: Tergite IV with the antero-median patches paired; tergite III has curved bands of spines. Lateral longitudinal spine bands restricted to tergite IV (132h.jpg). Comb of segment VIII 34-50µm wide (n=5); with 5-11 marginal teeth (n=6). Lateral taeniae of segments IV-VIII: 2,2(3),4,4,5.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 45-52 taeniae (n=6).
Note: Lindeberg, 1980a states that this is an aggregate of four closely related species.
