Orthocladius calvus

Diagnosis (n=3) (in part after Soponis, 1990a - in italics)
Exuviae 6.0-6.1mm long (069-2.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Frontal apotome without strongly projecting tubercles. Antennal sheath base without a sharp tooth. Thoracic horn 80-95µm long, oval, shortly petiolate; ThR 1.7-1.9.
Abdomen: Hook row II B 0.14-0.21x width tergite II. Segments without anterior point patches. Tergites II-V with apical bands of small, anteriorly directed hooks or spines. Pedes spurii B absent; pedes spurii A on IV or V to VII.
Anal segment: Anal lobes without fringe and macrosetae.
