Diagnosis
Exuviae 4.9-5.3mm long (m=5.15, n=8).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles 20-25µm long (n=3), length 0.67x breadth (n=2). Frontal setae 30-37µm long (n=4). Thoracic horn much branched. Posterior thoracic mound with a small anterior swelling and a conspicuously large posterior swelling. Thorax without conspicuously large granules near suture.
Abdomen: Tergite armament of Parachironomus-pattern. Hook row II on the posterior edge of a projecting flap of the tergite (110g.jpg); length of row 0.26-0.33x width tergite (n=6); hooks 27-37 (m=33.6, n=11). Sternite I without toothed humps. Sternite II with anterior and posterior spine bands weakly developed and more or less joined by a field of points. Vortex present. Comb of segment VIII 2-9 spines (m=5.9, n=12). Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 4,4,4,5.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 42-70 taeniae (m=52.6, n=12).
