Diagnosis
Exuviae 6.1, 6.5mm long (n=2).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn much branched. Thorax with conspicuously large granules near suture (112b.jpg).
Abdomen: Hook row II entire, length of row 0.66x width tergite; hooks 60 (n=1). Tergites VII and VIII without anterior armament. Sternite I smooth. Conjunctives III/IV and IV/V armed with points. Vortex absent. Comb of segment VIII with 2/3 marginal teeth (114j.jpg). Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 4,4,4,5.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 2.5 (n=1). Fringe of anal lobes of 37-45 taeniae (n=2) (114j.jpg).
Note: Possibly the pupa of Stenochironomus hibernicus.
