Micropsectra recurvata

Diagnosis (after Klink, 1982a).
Exuviae 7.5mm long.
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn 800µm long (148f.jpg). Pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Hook row II over 0.4x the width of the segment. Tergite II without anterior point patches. Armament of tergite II with the lateral point bands completely fused anteriorly, leaving a longitudinally oval bare patch postero-medially. Tergite III with spines 50µm long or more. Shagreen of tergite III absent from between the spine bands (146j.jpg , 148g.jpg). Tergites IV and V with a pair of transverse, slightly oblique point patches, a band of small points spreading from near the anterior transverse point patches towards the posterior margin on each side. Tergites VII and VIII with very restricted armament or smooth. The postero-lateral corner of segment VIII bears a comb of teeth. Segments IV and V each with three lateral taeniae. Segment VIII with five lateral taeniae.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe complete, with 75 taeniae.
