Diagnosis
Exuviae 6.5-8.4mm long (m=7.2mm, n=8) (026-1.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn absent. Precorneal setae 1-3: 112-140; 100-300; 80-100µm long (n=5) (026b.jpg); median antepronotal setae 85-130µm long (n=3); lateral antepronotal setae 125µm long (n=1). Dorsocentral setae 1-3: 80-138; 85-145; 65-175µm long (m=116; 115; 129µm, n=7); distance dorsocentral setae 1-2:2-3 = 0.22-0.31:1 (n=7).
Abdomen: Small points of tergite II extensive, usually spreading from the anterior margin as far as the posterior transverse band. Most of the lateral setae of the abdominal segments branched. (026d.jpg)
Anal segment: Anal lobes with three long apical macrosetae and a fringe of short hair-like setae (026c.jpg). Anal lobe ratio 1.2-1.6 (m=1.35, n=8).

Holarctic species: Widespread in Europe (not Scandinavia), circum-Mediterranean.
