Diagnosis (Material in coll. ZSM)
Exuviae 2.1, 2.5mm long (n=2).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn 213, 225µm long (n=2), its base not very expanded, narrowed to the origin of the apical filament (050g.jpg). Length horn base 0.26, 0.34x length horn (n=2); ThR (base) 2.1, 2.4 (n=2). Median antepronotal setae 1,2: 125, 155; 55, 93µm long; precorneal setae 1-3: 125, 135; 85, 135; 50, 75µm long; dorsocentral setae 1-4: 73, 78; 30, 45; 55; 13, 58µm long (n=2). Thorax smooth. Pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Hook rows on tergites with a broad median gap, hooks III 4/4, 6/6; IV 5/5, 5/8; V 5/4, 6/7 (n=2). Abdominal segments II-V dorsally nearly covered with small points except for the adhesion marks; VI-VIII progressively less extensively armed (no anterior transverse band of strong points). Tergites II-VIII with a posterior band of points which diminish in size laterally; points III 9, 18; IV 8, 18µm long (n=2). Segment VIII with two strong lateral setae.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.9 (n=1). Anal lobes without fringe. Length of anal macrosetae 0.89, 1.0x length of the anal lobe (n=2).

Distribution
Holarctic species: widespread in Europe (not Scandinavia), circum-Mediterranean.
