Diagnosis (Material in coll. ZSM)
Exuviae 3.7-3.9mm long (n=4).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles 30µm long (n=1), conical with apical seta (105b.jpg). Frontal setae 30µm long (n=1).
Abdomen: Length hook row II 0.22-0.43x width tergite (n=3); hooks 38, 41 (n=2) (105a.jpg). Segments without reticulation. Tergites II-V with median point patch and posterior band fused to form a nearly rectangular patch of strong points; on tergite VI the median patch and posterior band are separate or similar to that on V, and there is a reduced patch on VII. Conjunctives unarmed. Comb of segment VIII absent. Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 4,4,4,5.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 28-31 taeniae (n=4).

Distribution
Widespread in Europe (not Scandinavia), circum-Mediterranean.
