Micropsectra borealis

Diagnosis (Material in coll. ZSM)
Exuviae 7.0-8.3mm long (n=7).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles absent; frontal setae taeniate, 175, 190µm long (n=2). Antennal sheath base with a broad, but weak swelling. Thoracic horn 425-690µm long; ThR 6.9-9.6 (n=7). Thoracic horn seta 230-340µm long (n=7). Posterior thoracic mound moderately swollen. Pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Length hook row II 0.47-0.52x width tergite; hooks 124-162 (n=5). Tergite II without anterior point patches. Tergites IV and V with a pair of transverse, slightly oblique point patches. Tergites VII and VIII with very restricted armament or smooth. Paratergites II-VII unarmed. Pedes spurii B II absent. Comb of segment VIII 38-55µm wide; with 6-10 marginal teeth (n=7). Lateral taeniae of segments II-VIII: 0(1),0-2,5/6,5-7,5-7,3-5,5.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.06-1.36 (n=5). Fringe of anal lobe complete, with 45-73 taeniae (n=7).
