Diagnosis (n=10, material in coll. ZSM)
Exuviae 4.8-5.6mm long (m=5.3mm) (003-1.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn 288-325µm long (m=306µm); ThR 3.4-5.3 (m=4.5). Plastron plate small, its diameter less than the width of the horn apex, length 0.07-0.14 of horn length (m=0.1). (003b.jpg)
Abdomen: Posterior margins of abdominal segments neither ridged nor toothed laterally. Segment VIII extends posteriorly on each side of the anal lobes for twice its median length (003-1.jpg).
Anal segment: Anal lobes extend posteriorly as irregularly tapering lobes, bearing five setae and toothed externally over the apical half (003c.jpg).

Distribution
Holarctic species: Fennoscandia (Lindegaard, 1997a).
