Diagnosis
Exuviae 4.3-6.6mm long (m=5.6mm, n=8).
Cephalothorax: Frontal setae 250-330µm long (n=4). Thoracic horn absent. Precorneal setae 235-288; 115-160; 220-275µm long (n=4).
Abdomen: Hook row II absent. Tergites II-VII with the apical transverse point bands separated from the posterior band by a point-free space. Points of the posterior point bands larger than those of the apical bands.
Anal segment: Anal lobes posterior to three marginal setae with a short, broad triangular projection, which is armed with small points or scales. (028g.jpg ; 028h.jpg).
Note: This is possibly only a form of Potthastia gaedii and is often found with it.
