Xenochironomus xenolabis

Diagnosis
Exuviae 6.7-7.9mm long (n=6) (096-2.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles broad rounded humps with frontal setae (096k.jpg). Thoracic horn much branched.
Abdomen: Hook row II 0.63-0.70x width tergite. Tergites II-VI with small points arranged as an anterior and posterior transverse band joined by a median longitudinal band of smaller points, the lateral median space filled with scattered, strong, dark points set on small dark grey patches which coalesce to form an irregular pattern on a transparent background (096l.jpg). Comb of segment VIII absent. Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 4,4,4,(3)4(5).
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 87-124 taeniae (m=107, n=8), in a two deep band (096m.jpg).
