Cyphomella cornea

Diagnosis (Material in coll. ZSM)
Exuviae 4.4mm long (n=1).
Abdomen: Length hook row II 0.58, 0.61x width tergite; hooks 70, 71 (n=2). Tergite II with armament resembling that on III-VI, a transverse band of strong points just posterior to setae D3 spreading forwards between setae D3 (108j.jpg). Pedes spurii B of segment II present. Comb of segment VIII 28, 35µm wide; with a row of 8/8, 10/10 narrow elongate marginal teeth (n=2); comb set on the edge of a semicircular pad on the apico-lateral corner of the segment (108k.jpg). (The teeth may be bluntly rounded at the apex, and an occasional tooth may occur further forward between the bases of lateral taeniae 3 and 4.) Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 4,4,4,4.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 44/48 taeniae (n=1).
