Exuviae 4.6-5.6mm long (n=6).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles 45-75µm long (n=4); 0.65-1.25x higher than broad (n=3). Frontal setae 23, 25µm long (n=2). Thoracic horn much branched. Posterior thoracic mound with a small anterior swelling and a conspicuously large posterior swelling. Thorax without conspicuously large granules near suture (112a.jpg).
Abdomen: Tergite armament of Parachironomus-pattern. Hook row II on the posterior edge of a projecting flap of the tergite (110g.jpg); length of row 0.27-0.32x width tergite (n=5); hooks 28-30 (n=3). Tergite II without armament. Sternite I without toothed humps. Sternite II with anterior and posterior spine bands of dense long spines, bare between (112g.jpg). Vortex present. Comb of segment VIII of 2-5 colourless spines in the apico-lateral corner near the bases of the fourth and fifth lateral taeniae (n=9) (112h.jpg). Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 4,4,4,5.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 42-53 taeniae (n=7).
