Cricotopus iso-pe2

Diagnosis
Exuviae 4.9-5.7mm long.
Cephalothorax: Frontal setae on frontal apotome, 180µm long (n=1). Thoracic horn short oval to elongate oval, smooth, 50-120µm long (086k.jpg); ThR 2.5-5.2 (n=3). Thorax extensively small granulate. Precorneal setae not on conspicuous mounds.
Abdomen: Length hook row II 0.47-0.59 of width tergite II; hooks 135-167 (n=3), in 2-3 rows medially, 3-5 laterally. Pedes spurii B absent. Apical spinule band of tergite III present (086l.jpg) Point patches absent on tergites VII and VIII.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.6-1.8 (n=3). Anal lobes without fringe. Length of anal macrosetae 0.30-0.44x length of the anal lobe (n=3).

Note: This may be the pupa of Cricotopus relucens Hirvenoja, but the thoracic horn of relucens as described by Hirvenoja, 1973a is longer (120-150µm) and narrower (thoracic horn about 5-7 times as long as broad).
