Arctopelopia melanosoma

Diagnosis
Exuviae 6.1-7.5mm long (m=6.6mm, n=23) (014-2.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn 315-370µm long (m=348µm, n=18), without plastron plate, toothed, more or less parallel-sided, rounded at apex and usually with a conspicuous lateral swelling near base; ThR 5.4-8.2 (m=6.6, n=18). Thorax weakly granulate. Thorax comb hardly distinguishable. (014g.jpg)
Abdomen: Tergite IV with branched spinules in a posterior transverse band, longitudinally the length of the pleura, and a pair of median longitudinal bands just lateral to the posterior adhesion marks.
Anal segment: Tergite IX with branched spinules dispersed among the simple (014h.jpg). Anal lobes internally with a notch near apex bounded by a sharp tooth. Insertion of anterior anal taenia at 0.37-0.4 of lobe length. Anal lobe ratio 2.2-2.6 (m=2.3, n=21).
