Orthocladius consobrinus

Diagnosis
Exuviae 4.8-6.5mm long (m=5.6mm, n=12) (075-2.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn 255-325µm long (m=284µm, n=11), leaf-like, with a serrated edge (075f.jpg); ThR 1.8-3.0 (m=2.3, n=11). Four dorsocentral setae, the first, third and fourth thick, the second conspicuously thinner.
Abdomen: Hook row of segment II absent, or represented by a few hooks in the middle of the apical spinule band. Tergite II shagreened, without median point patches, but with a transverse band of points in front of the apical spinule band. Tergites III-VII with a median transverse pair of more or less circular point patches, sometimes indicated on tergite VIII, set in a field of shagreen that extends laterally to the tergite margins and posteriorly to the posterior transverse point bands (075g.jpg). Tergites VIII and IX covered with shagreen.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.6-1.8 (m=1.6, n=10). Anal lobes without fringe. Length of anal macrosetae 0.64-0.81x length of the anal lobe (m=0.69, n=11).
