Tanytarsus occultus

Diagnosis
Exuviae 4.4, 4.5mm long (n=2).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles elongate conical, 60, 80µm long. Frontal setae 135µm long (n=1). Antennal sheath base with a weak tubercle. Thoracic horn 600, 850µm long; ThR 17, 19. Middle section of horn with setae 27µm long, as long as or longer than the diameter of the horn (143g.jpg). Posterior thoracic mound moderate. Wing sheaths rounded apically, pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Hooks of hook row II 49, 52. Tergite II without an anterior pair of point patches; III with points only; IV and V with the armament arranged in longitudinal bands. Armament of tergite IV 95, 105µm long. ArR III-VI 0.57/1.0 : 1.0 : 0.67/1.0 : 0.48/0.56. Postero-lateral comb of segment VIII 40, 45µm wide; with 7 marginal teeth (n=2). Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 0,0/1,1/3,5.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.3 (n=1). Fringe of anal lobe with 31-36 taeniae (n=2), forming a complete series.
