Tanytarsus palettaris

Diagnosis (n=1)
Exuviae 4.5mm long.
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles 90µm long, rounded. Frontal setae 90µm long. Thoracic horn 622µm long; ThR 13. Thoracic horn setulae on the distal two-thirds or half, 16µm long (143e.jpg). Wing sheaths rounded apically, pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Tergites IV and V with the armament arranged in longitudinal bands. Armament tergite IV strong, 165µm long (143f.jpg). ArR III-VI 1.48 : 1.0 : 0.75 : 0.12. The postero-lateral corner of segment VIII bears a comb of teeth. Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 3,4,4,5.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 25 taeniae, forming a complete series.
