864a. Anal lobes with apical teeth; anal macrosetae usually strongly hooked at tip (077d.jpg). Tergites II-V normally with a postero-lateral patch of granules extending the hook row and apical bands to tergite margin (077c.jpg); ventrally on segments I-V these may be complete across the sternites or medially broken. Lateral setae of the posterior segments shorter and thinner.

864b. Anal lobes without apical teeth, or rarely with small colourless teeth; the macrosetae at most weakly curved at tip, often straight. Tergites and sternites without granulation (077e.jpg). Lateral setae of the posterior segments longer and more robust (077f.jpg).
