827a. Tergite I completely covered with strong points, as strong as those on tergites VIII and IX. Dorsocentral setae small, about 12µm long; 2 small spine-like precorneal setae, about 25µm long (070c.jpg). Note Or238.

827b. Tergite I generally incompletely covered with points; when completely covered, most of the points are minute, smaller than those on tergites VIII and IX. IF dorsocentral setae as small, then 3 precorneal setae are present.
