937a. Pedes spurii B II well-developed. 4th lateral seta of segment VIII not stronger than the others on that segment. Tergites III-VI typically with the median and posterior transverse bands widely separated but broadly joined on each side leaving a median circular or oval bare patch (090j.jpg), but very variable, some specimens having these bands more or less completely fused and others with the bands separate. Note Or348.

937b. Pedes spurii B II small or absent. 4th lateral seta of segment VIII obviously much stronger than at least one of the other three. Tergites III-V with the median and posterior bands completely fused leaving only the adhesion marks on each side free, or narrowly separated for at least part of their breadth.
