Thorax anteriorly strongly rugosely wrinkled, the ridges near the suture in part minutely toothed (090f.jpg), elsewhere extensively wrinkled or feebly granulate, the granulations extending at least as far as the base of the wing sheaths. Frontal setae on praefrons. Pedes spurii B II very weak. 4 lateral setae on segment VIII. (Thoracic horn usually elongate, toothed (090e.jpg), but may be reduced to a smooth oval bulb.)
