682a. Thoracic horn swollen apically (but this may be masked by folding) (049g.jpg). Usually anterior dorsocentral seta fine, the remaining three sturdy, as in Psectrocladius psilopterus (048h.jpg). Cephalic tubercles large and curved. Anterior cephalothorax usually conspicuously dark.

682b. Thoracic horn not swollen apically. 2nd dorsocentral seta fine, the rest sturdy. Cephalic tubercles not so conspicuous. Cephalothorax anteriorly not conspicuously dark.
