671a. 3 lateral taeniae on segment VII (rarely 2), 4 on VIII (usually the 5th seta is displaced inwards making 4 posterior setae on tergite VIII, but occasionally it is expanded as a short taenia and situated next to taenia 4). (Segments III-VI with 3 lateral setae, evenly distributed.)

671b. 4 lateral taeniae on segment VII, 5 on VIII, the 5th as long as the 4th (occasionally only 4, in which case it is missing altogether, not displaced inwards as a seta).
