508a. Points of the lateral bands on tergites IV and V posterior to the anterior point patches, very small, with little variation in size, the bands, at least on IV, fused across the mid line. Antennal sheath bases with large, bluntly conical projections. Comb of segment VIII smaller, with short, broad marginal teeth. Males with anterior point patches on tergites IV-VI, females on IV and V only.

Points of lateral bands on tergites IV and V enlarged mediad as short spinules; external to these the tergite is more or less covered with small points, whereas between the bands the tergite is bare. Tergite VI without anterior point patches. Antennal sheath base weakly swollen. Comb of segment VIII broader, with elongate, narrow marginal teeth. Males and females with anterior point patches on tergites IV and V only.
