332a. Precorneal setae short and thin, the longer of the two about 35µm in length. Cephalic tubercles rounded humps, about 20µm high. Frontal setae long, about 120µm long. Posterior transverse band of points deep (except medially, where it is interrupted or only narrowly joined posteriorly), spreading forwards beyond seta D5 as far as its extent behind (125f.jpg).

Polypedilum pullum

332b. Precorneal setae more robust, the longer of the two about 80µm long. Cephalic tubercles projecting, 25-40µm high. Frontal setae shorter, about 90µm long. Posterior transverse band of points narrow, on tergites III-VI spreading only a little, if at all, beyond seta D5 anteriorly (125e.jpg).
