316a. Armament of tergites II and III continuous and extensive, rectangular in outline or narrowed posteriorly, with only a small bare median posterior patch (122g.jpg). On tergites IV-VI the median point patch is conspicuously marmorate and progressively reduced.

316b. At its greatest development the median point patches of tergites II-VI are broadly attached on each side of the mid-line to the anterior transverse band, narrowing to a little past mid-segment and thereafter widening rapidly to its fusion with the posterior transverse band; Note Ci213.
