Nanocladius parvulus

Diagnosis (n=4, material in coll. ZSM)
Exuviae 2.6-3.0mm long.
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn elongate, 210-225µm long, small-toothed (043e.jpg); ThR 2.8-3.8.
Abdomen: Hooks of hook row II short, strongly curved, crowded on a postero-median projection of the tergite. Tergites III-VIII with restricted shagreen, at least on VII and VIII, with conspicuous large points medially and/or posteriorly. Tergites without a median transverse row of strong points. Median point patches present on tergites (III, IV) V, VI. Points of point patches small, the longest less than 30µm long, usually shorter than the longest tooth of the posterior transverse rows. Apical point band on segment III entire, on IV entire or medially broken. Pedes spurii B on segment II conspicuously large, usually elongate conical in shape. Three or four lateral setae on segments II-VI, not taeniate; lateral taeniae of segment VI 0, 1 or 4, VIII 5; segment VII without lateral taeniae; all four lateral setae bristle-like (043d.jpg).
Anal segment: Anal lobes not drawn out posteriorly into a tooth or spur. Anal lobe ratio 1.5-1.6. Fringe of anal lobe with 14-19 taeniae. The three anal macrosetae situated apically on the anal lobes.

Distribution
Holarctic species: widespread in Europe (not Fennoscandia).
