Diagnosis (See Strenzke, 1952a)
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn usually absent. The 2 antepronotals and 2 precorneals long and flexible, about 3µm wide at base. Antepronotum armed with small points.
Abdomen: Tergites II-VIII, apart from small bare patches, covered with more or less evenly sized points. Conjunctives unarmed.
Anal segment: Anal lobes without fringe, lobes flared out somewhat laterally, producing a more angled outline.

Distribution
Widespread in Europe (not Mediterranean).
