Diagnosis
Exuviae 10.6-13.5mm long (m=11.6mm, n=27).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles broad conical, curved, about 150µm high (096e.jpg). Thoracic horn much branched.
Abdomen: Points on the anterior two-thirds of the pleura of segment V generally isolated, densely and irregularly arranged; points robust, infrequently acuminate. Epaulettes racket-shaped, present on tergites II-VI (096f.jpg); EpR II-VI 1.0 : 0.9-1.89 : 1.23-2.38 : 1.74-3.63 : 2.19-4.52 (m=1.0 : 1.42 : 1.75 : 2.66 : 3.53, n=27). Comb of segment VIII with 2-13 teeth (m=7, n=43). Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 4,4,4,5.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 150-193 taeniae (m=168, n=13).

Ecological notes
Stagnant water; common in brackish water and tolerates more saline water than the other species in the genus.
