Author: (Edwards, 1929)
Diagnosis
Exuviae 4.4, 5.7mm long (n=2).
Cephalothorax: Frontal setae 50µm long (n=1). Thoracic horn 163-215µm long, small-toothed, pointed at apex; ThR 4.9-8.2 (n=4).
Abdomen: Tergite I armed at least antero-laterally. Tergites II-VIII posteriorly with a conspicuous narrow transverse band of teeth, the remainder of the tergites covered with small points. Points of apical bands smaller than those in mid-tergite on segments III-VI. On tergite III the points between setae D1 somewhat enlarged, contrasting with those anteriorly and posteriorly (061i.jpg). Most of the points on the pleura of segment IV similar in size to those on the tergite. Posterior transverse tooth rows of sternites III-VIII continuous, or broken medially, the colourless teeth intermittently dispersed across the sternites. Two of the lateral setae of segments II-V short and spine-like. Lateral setae of segment IV, 63-80; 80-100; 75-85; 50-75µm long (n=3); 1 and 3 robust, 2 about one third their diameter and only about one fifth the length of the segment, 4 very narrow (061j.jpg); length longest seta 0.14-0.21x length segment IV (n=3).
Anal segment: Anal lobes rounded laterally, fringe absent. The apical setae short and strong, thorn- or spine-like, 33-70µm long (n=4); length 3.0-9.3x width (n=4). Usually three thorn-like macrosetae.
