Form described by Langton, 1991

Diagnosis (n=65, wild caught)
Exuviae 6.6-9.2mm long.
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles 95-230µm long.
Abdomen: Length hook row II 0.35-0.5x width tergite. Comb of segment VIII of 1-7 teeth, the largest the most posterior. Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 3,4(3),4(3),5.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe with 42-66 taeniae.

Note: Microtendipes chloris, Microtendipes pedellus and Microtendipes diffinis also have pupae of this type.
