Cricotopus polaris

Diagnosis
No satisfactory distinction between the pupal exuviae of Cricotopus tibialis (Meigen) and C. polaris has been found. Material described as belonging to either of these species in the 1991 Key has now been combined under the new form: Cricotopus pe13.
