Diagnosis (after Klink, 1982a).
Exuviae 5.5mm long.
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles short (147n.jpg). Thoracic horn with short, sparse setae. Thoracic horn 500µm long. Thoracic horn seta about 125µm long. Pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Tergite II without anterior point patches; armament of tergite II with the lateral point bands completely fused anteriorly, leaving a longitudinally oval bare patch postero-medially. Tergite III with spines longer than 25µm. Tergites IV and V with a pair of transverse, slightly oblique point patches; the points of the point patches much stronger than those behind. Lateral longitudinal bands of tergites IV and V of spinules. Tergites VII and VIII with very restricted armament or smooth. The postero-lateral corner of segment VIII bears a comb of teeth. Segments IV and V each with 1-3 taeniae on each side. Segment VIII with five lateral taeniae.
Anal segment: Fringe of anal lobe complete, with 27-37 taeniae.
