Diagnosis (after Hirvenoja, 1973a - in italics)
Exuviae 5.5, 6.6mm (n=2)
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles absent, frontal setae on frontal apotome. Thorax dorsally weakly granulate and weakly wrinkled. Thoracic horn very thinwalled, colourless, smooth, about 25µm wide, 120-150µm long, with short neck.
Abdomen: Hook row II with 146, 207 hooks in 2 or 4 transverse rows. Pedes spurii B absent. Tergites II-VI with uniform shagreen, on VI not reaching lateral adhesion marks. Dorsal setae I-VIII: ?3,4,4,5,5,5,5,2; Lateral setea I-VIII: 1,3,3,3,3,3,3,4; Ventral setae I-VIII: ?1,?4,?4,?4,?4,5,5,1; lateral seta 4 on VIII shorter then the other lateral setae.
Anal segment: The 3 anal macrosetae clearly shorter then half the length of the anal lobes.
