Diagnosis (in part after Hirvenoja and Hirvenoja, 1988a - in italics)
Exuviae 1.6-2.3mm long (m=2.0mm, n=17).
Cephalothorax: 1 long and ±3 weaker pearl rows (036e.jpg).
Abdomen: Sternite I with similar sized evenly distributed spinules, covering the sternite (they may be smaller than the spinules on sternite II) (036f.jpg). Sternite II with long colourless spinules, 10µm or more long.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.3-1.8 (m=1.5, n=13). Fringe of anal lobe with 18+1 to 48+1 taeniae (m=39+1, n=15). Apical setae of anal lobes taeniate, anterior apical seta at taeniae 14-24. Genital sheaths reach posterior margin of anal lobes in male, not in female.
