Diagnosis
Exuviae 5.7-7.4mm long (m=6.7mm, n=9) (028-1.jpg).
Cephalothorax: Frontal setae 253-350µm long (n=5). Thoracic horn absent. Precorneal setae 215-255; 157-200; 245-325µm long (n=5).
Abdomen: Hook row II absent. Abdominal tergites (I-VII) with the apical transverse point bands separated from the posterior band by a point-free space; points of the posterior point bands larger than those of the apical bands (028-1.jpg).
Anal segment: Anal lobes posterior to three marginal setae with a short, broad triangular projection armed with small points or scales (028b.jpg).

Distribution
Holarctic species: Widespread in Europe, circum-Mediterranean.
