Diagnosis
Exuviae 3.2-5.5mm long (m=4.9mm, n=24).
Cephalothorax: Cephalic tubercles shallow conical with obvious apical papilla. Frontal setae 100-150µm long (n=6). Antennal sheaths not swollen at base. Thoracic horn 452-650µm long (n=6), horn without long setulae; ThR 11.3-21.7 (n=3). Posterior thoracic mounds strongly swollen. Wing sheaths rounded apically, pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Length hook row II 0.23-0.36x width tergite (n=3); hooks 43-85 (n=5). Armament of tergite II of strong points, extending laterally nearly to setae D1, forming a continuous patch broken medially at most by narrow bare spaces. Armament bands on tergite III composed of spines, though there may be a field of minute points spreading out around the anterior end of the bands. Armament of tergite IV of points and spines. Armament tergite IV strong, 145-245µm long (n=11). ArR III-VI 1.0-1.21 : 1.0 : 0.38-1.0 : 0.28-0.61 (n=11) (139e.jpg). Longest spine III 60-100µm long (m=75µm, n=7); IV 40-85µm long (m=60.5µm, n=7). Postero-lateral comb of segment VIII 45-85µm wide (n=8); with 5-15 marginal teeth (m=11.8, n=25). Lateral taeniae of segments V-VIII: 3,3,4,4.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.27-1.5 (n=5). Fringe of anal lobe with 22-43 taeniae (m=35.2, n=26), forming a complete series beginning near the anterior edge of the lobes.
