Diagnosis
Pupae of type Thienemanniella pe2b.
Exuviae 1.8-2.4mm long (m=2.1mm, n=12).
Cephalothorax: Thoracic horn and pearl row absent.
Abdomen: Tergite III armed with small points, IV and V with stronger points, and VI to VIII with small spinulate points no more than 5µm in length, progressively smaller on succeeding segments: on VIII arranged in short transverse or diagonal rows. Sternite II without spinules; if armed, then with minute points; posterior points of sternites III-VIII not conspicuously enlarged. Segments III-VIII with 4 lateral taeniae.
Anal segment: Anal lobe ratio 1.3-1.7 (m=1.5, n=8). Fringe of anal lobe with 38+1 to 55+1 taeniae (m=47+1, n=13). Apical setae of anal lobes cylindrical, hooked apically.
