Diagnosis
Cryptochironomus ussouriensis (Goetghebuer) as described by Shilova (1959) will key out with ? Harnischia Pe, but has strong anterior and posterior thoracic mounds, points of tergite II not enlarged posteriorly and lateral setae of tergites II-IV not set on conspicuous tubercles.
